Assistant Principal

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership for faculty development, curriculum implementation, and student social wellbeing within the Middle School
• Model and encourage the school's Culture of Kindness and core values
• Mentor faculty to support professional growth and help them become master teachers
• Develop meaningful curriculum for social and emotional wellbeing, including supervision of the Advisory program
• Oversee Middle School disciplinary guidelines and student attendance monitoring
• Participate in the development of curriculum documentation, instructional methods, and assessment practices
• Manage school resources and program budgets with fiscal accountability
• Collaborate with the Administrative Team to implement the School Improvement Plan

Requirements

• Current North American teacher and administration certification
• Master’s Degree in School Administration, Leadership, or Curriculum
• Proven record of highly successful teaching experience in a Middle School setting
• Demonstrated experience in effective leadership and school management
• Extensive experience with American curriculum, standards, and pedagogy
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a professional and positive disposition
