Assistant Practice Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities and provide on-site leadership for the Concord and Laconia OB/GYN outpatient practices
• Manage support staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, competency development, and disciplinary actions
• Oversee staff scheduling, attendance, and payroll processing
• Monitor daily productivity related to registration and referral coordination
• Ensure compliance with policies, protocols, DNV guidelines, and state/federal laws
• Maintain office supplies through proper ordering, receiving, and reconciliation processes
• Foster positive working relationships with providers, staff, and interdepartmental peers
• Assist with budget management and the timely submission of charges and expenses

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in medical office operations
• At least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of medical office operations, including scheduling, registration, and patient flow
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Knowledge of medical billing, coding, charge capture, and payor guidelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology
