Assistant Physician - Pediatric Orthopedics and Traumatology

Responsibilities

• Supervise activity and mentor resident doctors and senior residents
• Collaborate on clinical activities with department heads and senior physicians
• Coordinate practical activities, clinical interventions, and surgical treatments for assigned patients
• Participate in the on-call and standby system
• Contribute to pre/post-graduate and continuous medical education
• Develop interdisciplinary clinical projects and conduct research, particularly in pediatric spinal pathologies and scoliosis

Requirements

• Federal medical degree
• Specialist title in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the locomotor system (or MEBEKO equivalent)
• Doctoral degree (PhD/MD thesis)
• Extensive experience in pediatric orthopedics and traumatology
• Clinical expertise in pediatric and adolescent spinal pathologies
• Previous experience as a senior resident or hospital staff physician in a university hospital setting
• Right to practice in the canton of Geneva or ability to obtain it before starting
• C1 level proficiency in French (spoken and written)
