Assistant Payroll Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll operations for head office and operational staff across restaurants, kitchens, outlets, and warehouses.
• Process salaries, overtime, public holiday pay, deductions, penalties, and final settlements accurately.
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE regulations, and Wages Protection System (WPS) requirements.
• Oversee payroll integration with attendance and roster systems and validate overtime approvals.
• Investigate payroll variances and maintain payroll SOPs, internal controls, and reporting.
• Coordinate with the Finance department for General Ledger (GL) reconciliations.
• Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related matters across HR, Finance, and Operations.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, data protection compliance, and proper e-archiving systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of payroll experience specifically within the UAE.
• Hands-on experience with WPS and UAE labour compliance.
• Experience working in high-volume operational environments such as F&B, hospitality, or retail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
