Assistant or Associate Professor & Program Director

Responsibilities

• Guide and facilitate Doctor of Executive (DEL) faculty and degree program functions
• Teach a full-time load of courses within the DEL program
• Serve as an academic advisor for students in the DEL program
• Engage in scholarship within the program specialty area to maintain curriculum quality
• Participate in department, school, and University faculty governance
• Manage budget development and strategic resource alignment
• Mentor doctoral students and serve on dissertation committees
• Collaborate on program developmental activities and intellectual community events

Requirements

• Earned doctoral degree in a leadership-related discipline
• Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles, online facilitation, and assessment
• Experience in doctoral-level instruction and dissertation committee work
• Technological competence in LMS, virtual meeting platforms, and student database systems
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment and building strategic professional partnerships
• Experience in event planning and grant writing
• Proficiency with Ellucian student database systems
