About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including developing content for the university's expanding online program
- Maintain a teaching load of 12 credit hours per semester
- Provide academic advising, student counseling, and mentorship to departmental students
- Supervise undergraduate and graduate student theses, research initiatives, and projects
- Maintain active scholarly engagement through research and professional development
- Participate in departmental and campus-wide committees and service activities
- Integrate faith and learning into pedagogical approaches
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related discipline
- Demonstrated teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels
- Strong Christian commitment and alignment with the college's mission and values
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Academic credentials commensurate with the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor
