Assistant or Associate Coach, Men’s Soccer

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head Coach in the overall leadership, development, and advancement of the men’s soccer program.
• Coordinate and manage team operations, including practice planning, travel, and scheduling.
• Ensure strict adherence to NCAA and conference regulations and compliance processes.
• Lead the instruction and development of student-athletes through technical training and tactical education.
• Oversee opponent analysis, scouting, and game plan development using video and analytics.
• Direct all video operations to support player development and staff decision-making.
• Identify, evaluate, and recruit high-level student-athletes, with an emphasis on the Great Lakes region.
• Assist in the execution of camps, clinics, and alumni engagement initiatives to enhance program visibility.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of related work experience, including demonstrated successful coaching.
• Minimum of 3 years of playing experience at the Division 1 level.
• Proven ability to evaluate talent and recruit student-athletes.
• (For Associate Coach level: minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful coaching experience required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience playing at the professional level.
