Assistant Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide positive leadership and coaching within the NAM Coordination & Dispatching Centre (NCDC) control room.
• Coordinate, monitor, and maximize production capacity across all NAM production facilities.
• Ensure installation security and initiate emergency shutdown (ESD) procedures when necessary.
• Manage contract and transport nominations and provide 24/7 ERO coordination.
• Act as the primary contact for internal and external parties regarding operational issues and disruptions.
• Support the Operations Supervisor in strengthening team dynamics and multi-skilled deployment.

Requirements

• Experience as a process operator within the oil and gas industry, including field and control room operations.
• VAPRO B certification or an equivalent qualification in process operations.
• Proven experience in leadership and coaching diverse teams.
• Deep knowledge of operational risk evaluation, process optimization, and safety procedures.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language (both written and verbal).
• Ability to act decisively and quickly in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

• Experience in project management and coordinating tasks between different operational teams.
• Strong skills in implementing process improvements and supporting operational projects.
