Assistant Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the operations manager in planning, monitoring, and developing pedagogical work
• Lead and follow up on quality and result goals
• Participate in and lead meetings, workgroups, and management group activities
• Manage personnel-related issues including onboarding, work environment, and follow-up in collaboration with HR
• Develop student health work and collaborate with external actors to ensure safety and learning
• Drive projects and development initiatives regarding teaching quality and work environment
• Ensure operations comply with governing documents and applicable legislation

Requirements

• Leadership experience from schools or educational activities
• Understanding of pedagogical leadership and quality work
• Ability to build trusting relationships with students, parents, staff, and external parties
• Structured, solution-oriented, and strong communication skills
• Experience or knowledge of work environment issues and personnel management
• Relevant university degree in pedagogy, school management, or similar
• Documented leadership experience within preschool/school settings
• Experience in project and improvement work
• Knowledge of relevant governing documents and current legislation

Preferred Qualifications

• Special education training
• Experience applying for ERASMUS and other grants
• Experience with quality dialogues and complaint management
• Experience with interim assignments or SI-cases
