Assistant Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise the provision and management of patient care services for the Addiction Services unit.
• Direct clinical staff and serve as a resource for nursing care and policy execution.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments to coordinate efforts and resolve operational problems.
• Participate in quality improvement, educational activities, and research endeavors.
• Complete performance appraisals and maintain professional growth and development.
• Ensure patient safety, quality care, and a professional environment that respects the dignity of all patients and families.

Requirements

• Graduation from a state-accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of progressive nursing experience.
• One year of experience specifically in addiction services.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey.
• Proficiency in word processing and general computer literacy.
• Ability to provide psychiatric nursing and utilize the nursing process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
