Assistant Nurse

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, blood glucose checks, and diabetes-related evaluations
• Assist in diabetes management, including insulin administration, medication management, and patient education
• Support physicians and specialists during consultations, medical procedures, and treatments
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient records and treatment plans in the EMR system
• Collect and record patient health data and analyze trends to assist in early identification of complications
• Assist patients in using wearable health devices and digital monitoring tools for diabetes management
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, safety standards, and DHA regulatory guidelines
• Conduct monthly International Patient Safety Goals (IPSG) audits and support JCIA compliance efforts
• Collaborate with doctors, dietitians, and lifestyle coaches to deliver comprehensive care

Requirements

• DHA License as an Assistant Nurse
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in endocrinology or diabetes care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency in EMR systems and digital healthcare technologies
• Strong knowledge of JCIA standards, infection control, and patient safety protocols

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital health solutions or the use of wearable health devices
• Background in chronic disease management or patient education
• Experience in clinical research data collection
