About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in activities with or without the family
- Assist in food-related situations
- Play with the child and initiate play activities
- Motivate the child to engage in physical activity
- Provide practical assistance in the home
- Assist with personal hygiene and dressing
Requirements
- Driver's license (Class B)
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Valid police certificate (not older than three months)
- Patient and secure personality
- Ability to set boundaries and create predictability
- Experience with or understanding of children with autism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with autism
- Possession of a personal car
