Assistant Merchant

Responsibilities

• Support the PINK Beauty category through comprehensive systems management and assortment documentation
• Turn customer insights and competitive intelligence into actionable assortment strategy recommendations
• Manage product samples, including ranking current business and collaborating with Sample Management partners
• Assist in key meeting preparation, including deck preparation, style/color ranking, and ad hoc analysis
• Monitor and report on ongoing trends, competitive landscapes, and market patterns
• Learn and apply retail math and financial reporting tools to analyze business insights and product performance
• Cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships and participate in weekly collaborative meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a relevant field
• Demonstrated understanding of current and upcoming trends relevant to the customer
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and demonstrate change agility
• Entrepreneurial thinking and a high level of curiosity regarding market trends
