Responsibilities

• Identify trading actions from analysis of stock and sales data
• Own forward forecast for continuity lines proposing re-orders and stock management actions
• Establish and maintain strong supplier relationships through regular meetings
• Work closely with brands to place in-season repeats and address slow-turning stock
• Manage flow of intake into the warehouse and manage returns of slow-moving stock
• Identify, model, and propose promotional activity for approval
• Own mid-season trading reviews to inform future Buying strategy
• Produce ad-hoc analysis for Buying and Merchandising colleagues
• Manage workload and coaching of one Merchandise Admin Assistant
• Undertake regular store visits to understand retail feedback and trading opportunities

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Assistant Merchandiser
• Passion for merchandising within a fashion environment
• Strong numerical skills and ability to work with data
• Strong team player
