Assistant Men's Basketball Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Men's Basketball Coach in the management and direction of all aspects of the program
• Recruit student-athletes in accordance with University and NAIA policies to meet roster goals
• Create and execute effective practice plans
• Coordinate team travel arrangements, including lodging, meals, and vehicle operation
• Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes and support their development
• Assist with fundraising, public relations, and community service activities
• Maintain inventory of university-owned equipment and uniforms
• Ensure compliance with University, Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC), and NAIA regulations
• Support the mission of the College by demonstrating commitment to a Christian liberal arts education

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Coaching experience in a high school, club, or collegiate environment
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to travel 50-75% during the basketball season
• Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of people and a commitment to diversity
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Previous head or assistant coaching experience in a collegiate environment
• Proven experience recruiting student-athletes
