Assistant Men’s & Women’s Volleyball Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coaches in planning and executing high-level practices, film sessions, and match preparation
• Teach technical and tactical volleyball skills using position-specific feedback and performance data
• Support recruiting efforts by identifying, evaluating, and communicating with prospective student-athletes
• Manage program operations including team travel, equipment inventory, and facility supervision
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress and well-being to ensure alignment with university standards
• Maintain strict compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Collegiate playing or coaching experience, or comparable high-level club/professional experience
• Strong knowledge of volleyball technical skills, systems, and competitive strategy
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for recruiting and competitions
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in college volleyball coaching
• Proven recruiting experience with high school, club, transfer, or international prospects
• Proficiency with video and statistical platforms for scouting and player development
• Experience in fundraising, alumni engagement, or social media coordination
