Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Men's Soccer Coach in building and maintaining an elite NCAA Division II program
• Coordinate recruiting efforts for the entire program to identify and evaluate prospective student-athletes
• Lead the implementation of practice schedules, off-season programs, and in-game coaching
• Provide specialized training and development for student-athletes, with a specific focus on goalkeeping
• Serve as the head coach for the developmental team, including managing their workouts, practices, and travel
• Monitor student-athletes' academic progress and support their personal growth and character development
• Manage game day preparations, including opponent scouting, film study, and travel coordination
• Assist with administrative duties, budget management, and summer soccer camps

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous coaching experience at the high school or college level
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Competency in social media marketing platforms
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to build professional relationships with student-athletes, families, and community members

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field
• Experience using Slate or other CRM software
• Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid
