Assistant Men's Soccer Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist in the management and development of the intercollegiate men's soccer program
• Provide discipleship to student-athletes to facilitate spiritual growth and model Christian competition
• Recruit and retain quality student-athletes who align with the college's mission and vision
• Provide on-field coaching and instruction, including support for the JV program
• Conduct opponent scouting and manage program social media accounts
• Perform administrative duties within the Athletic Department as assigned by the Director of Athletics
• Monitor student-athlete academic performance and partner with Student Development for retention

Requirements

• Acceptance of and commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in coaching men's soccer
• Commitment to adhering to all policies, rules, and regulations of Covenant College, the Collegiate Conference of the South, and the NCAA Division III
• Strong understanding of and commitment to Scripture, the Westminster Standards, and the doctrinal standards of the PCA

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Experience coaching men's soccer at the collegiate level
