About the role
Responsibilities
- Support all aspects of the collegiate soccer program in collaboration with the head coach
- Provide individual and small group goalkeeper training
- Recruit qualified student-athletes who align with the institution's mission
- Monitor student-athletes' academic progress toward their degrees
- Assist with competition and practice preparation
- Contribute to individual and program development, facility maintenance, and community activities
- Adhere to all rules and guidelines set by the NCAA, Conference Carolinas, and Belmont Abbey College
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of one year of collegiate soccer coaching experience
- Full commitment to the Catholic and Benedictine mission of the College
- Ability to support the development of mind, body, and spirit in students and staff
- Sincere appreciation for the College's Catholic approach to education
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated vision in recruiting student-athletes who fit the institution's character
- Understanding of Pope Saint John Paul II’s Ex corde Ecclesiae
