Assistant Men's and Women's Swimming Coach

Responsibilities

• Recruit prospective student-athletes to build and maintain a competitive program
• Support the academic success and meaningful educational development of student-athletes
• Organize and lead athletic camps and clinics to support Clarion Athletics
• Engage in fundraising activities to support the program and department
• Ensure strict adherence to NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations
• Perform general administrative duties and support the overall mission of the Athletics program
• Act as a mentor and role model to establish a positive sport culture

Requirements

• Two or more years of coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Earned Bachelor’s degree
• Demonstrated ability in technical skill instruction
• Proven experience in recruiting prospective student-athletes
• Demonstrated ability to fundraise
• Strong understanding of NCAA rules and compliance
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proven commitment to the academic success of student-athletes
