Assistant Mechanical BIM Engineer/Modeller (MEP)

Responsibilities

• Manage the quality and accuracy of BIM information to ensure compliance with required standards and levels of detail
• Perform MEP detailing using Revit, including the generation of 2D drawings, schedules, and sections
• Model structural, mechanical, and electrical elements, including RCC, structural steel, pipes, fittings, and cable management systems
• Manage model set-up, families, and worksets
• Coordinate between all engineering disciplines to resolve modelling issues and ensure seamless project delivery
• Review and resolve modelling conflicts and coordinate with supply chain and vendors

Requirements

• Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience in MEP detailing and knowledge of pipe materials and fittings
• Experience in modelling RCC and structural steel building elements
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the water industry
• Experience with UK-specific projects
• Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise or BIM 360
• Experience handling Point Cloud data
