About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance team in carrying out their work
- Prepare and clean surfaces to inspect and lubricate mechanical parts
- Lubricate equipment under the supervision of a mechanic
- Ensure proper use and operation of company equipment
- Clean conveyors on the production line
- Ensure machines on the production line are functioning properly
- Inform supervisor of required actions, problems, or delays
- Work safely in compliance with OHS policies
- Perform other related tasks
Requirements
- Excellent physical condition and manual skills
- Independent, methodical, and proactive approach
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in cold temperatures and dusty environments
