Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Source and develop suppliers for fasteners and cold-forged parts
• Evaluate suppliers based on capability, quality, and capacity
• Handle RFQs, costing, and price negotiations to ensure cost efficiency
• Ensure material and specification compliance with DIN, ISO, and ASTM standards
• Coordinate with the Quality team for PPAP, approvals, and issue resolution
• Work cross-functionally to support New Product Development (NPD), delivery, and cost optimization
• Monitor supplier performance regarding cost, quality, and delivery

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering
• 8–10 years of experience in automotive or commodity purchasing
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in cold forging sourcing
