Assistant Manager - WorkTransfer

Responsibilities

• Own and execute Work Transfer Gates 3 (qualification of future source) and 4 (validation of rate readiness) across multiple commodities and programs
• Manage and leverage relationships with global suppliers to ensure timely project execution
• Communicate project status effectively to all levels of the organization, including Senior Leadership
• Establish project priorities to mitigate production impacts and internal financial risks
• Lead the resolution of project setbacks by identifying alternate solutions and interfacing with supplier leadership
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) analysis
• Participate in teleconferences during off-hours to support suppliers in different time zones

Requirements

• BE or Master's degree
• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement
• Extensive experience within the manufacturing industry

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP experience, preferably SAP
• PMP certification
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel (v-lookups, macros, pivot tables)
• Strong presentation skills
• Technical aptitude, including experience reading blueprints and technical specifications
