Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Cultivate a team environment that provides exceptional customer service and ensures staff perform at a high level
• Assist in hiring, staff retention, coaching, discipline, and the execution of training programs
• Develop weekly schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels and lead coverage
• Lead and motivate staff by leveraging individual strengths to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction
• Select and develop staff for increased responsibility or internal leadership promotion
• Assist with inventory management and expense control
• Oversee all aspects of operations including entertainment, food, beverage, attractions, and property inspections
• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all guests and staff

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality (Theme Parks, Family Entertainment Centers, Hotels, Resorts, Casinos, or Restaurants)
• At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 30 lbs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to exercise good judgment in decision-making
• Ability to pass a thorough background check

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid Certification
