Assistant Manager – Technical Sales and Service

Responsibilities

• Independently manage key accounts and existing/new GI customers within the region.
• Provide technical support to new customers in the Energy and other market segments.
• Support the Sales Manager in developing new customers through profiling, targeting, and industry networking.
• Manage the integration of sales and business strategies to streamline regional programs.
• Ensure customer retention by developing relationships with site management and monitoring satisfaction.
• Respond to customer technical inquiries regarding product lines and application methods.
• Perform supporting sales activities including presentations, inventory management, and payment follow-ups.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of junior staff.
• Manage customer requirements, internal MRP generation, and efficient material supply.

Requirements

• 8 to 13 years of progressive industry experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Diploma or Degree in Paint Technology or Surface Coating.
• Strong knowledge of paint chemistry and its applications for automotive and off-road industries.
• Proven experience working with large OEM painting lines.
• Experience working on value engineering projects at customer lines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional degree or diploma in Sales or Marketing.
