Assistant Manager Strategic Sourcing

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with company goals to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Manage a diverse supplier base by identifying, evaluating, and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Optimize costs by analyzing market trends and negotiating favorable pricing and terms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and product development to meet sourcing needs.
• Mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity and operational stability.
• Lead contract negotiations and manage contractual agreements for goods and services.
• Utilize data insights to monitor supplier performance and drive quantitative decision-making.
• Mentor junior associates on category strategies and sourcing negotiations.

Requirements

• BA/BS/Bachelor Degree in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of experience in sourcing or supplier selection.
• 4+ years of experience specifically in pricing and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the healthcare industry.
