Assistant Manager – RTR (Bank Reconciliation & Reporting – US)

Responsibilities

• Perform, supervise, and review daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts
• Analyze complex reconciliation discrepancies and implement effective solutions
• Lead the month-end and year-end financial closing processes related to bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, accounting policies, and regulatory standards
• Prepare and present detailed reconciliation reports, dashboards, and KPI reports to senior management
• Identify process inefficiencies and propose automation or system enhancements to streamline workflows
• Provide support during financial audits by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliation reports
• Track and resolve issues and exceptions captured during the closing process

Requirements

• Finance Graduate, Postgraduate, or Semi-qualified Accountant
• 9-11 years of experience in Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger (GL), and Record to Report (RTR) processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, leadership, and multitasking abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with global stakeholders
• Ability to work in shifts (Month-end: 5:30 pm to 3:00 am; Non-month end: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of D365 or Blackline tools
• Understanding of different payment systems used in the US
• Knowledge of Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (PTP) processes
