Assistant Manager – Production

Responsibilities

• Manage production teams and day-to-day shop floor operations within an electronics manufacturing environment
• Oversee assembly processes, including PCB assembly, testing, reflow, and wave soldering
• Execute production planning and line balancing to ensure efficient manufacturing workflows
• Maintain high quality standards through strict adherence to IPC standards and ESD handling protocols
• Utilize ERP systems and MS Office tools to monitor and report on production metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering
• 8–10 years of experience in electronics manufacturing and production operations
• Strong knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and assembly techniques
• Proven experience in managing production teams and shop floor activities
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Functional Testing and Burn-in processes
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and Kaizen methodologies
• Ability to manage multiple production lines simultaneously
• Strong communication and team management abilities
