Assistant Manager - Production

Responsibilities

• Meet production targets and manage day-to-day output using a QCD (Quality, Cost, and Delivery) approach.
• Plan and effectively supervise employees to ensure a safe work environment and high team performance.
• Ensure customer schedule adherence and meet established goals for production quality and delivery.
• Lead the production team in implementing 5S, SGA, QCC, and Kaizen initiatives.
• Manage material and inventory planning in coordination with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to meet quantitative and qualitative requirements.
• Promote energy conservation techniques and maintain awareness of environmental and safety standards.

Requirements

• Sound manufacturing process knowledge, specifically regarding assembly operations and troubleshooting.
• Experience in material and inventory planning.
• Working knowledge of IATF Quality Management Systems and Lean concepts.
• Proficiency with TPM/TQM and the SAP PP module.
• Experience working with major OEMs (e.g., Hyundai, Suzuki, Honda, Toyota).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Awareness of ISO 14001, 45001, and 50001 requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an internal auditor for ISO standards.
• Proven ability to manage employee relationships and address grievances efficiently.
