Assistant Manager, Product Development & Production

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Development team with sample organization and purchase order management
• Maintain purchasing, scheduling, and inventory control for all vendors
• Coordinate with PO admin to manage purchase order setup and size breakdowns
• Track top of production (TOP) samples to ensure timely receipt and quality compliance
• Manage cost sheets from proto and SMS stages through to production
• Build and maintain department work-in-process (WIP) reports
• Drive weekly cross-functional meetings regarding pre-production and production deliverables
• Monitor factory ship dates and advise teams on delivery or margin challenges
• Troubleshoot problematic styles with key personnel to prevent larger issues

Requirements

• AFA or AA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Excellent time-management, organization, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills for in-person and email correspondence
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
• Ability to work onsite during core business hours (Monday – Friday)
