Assistant Manager, Product Development

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Development team with sample and purchase order organization within the activewear category
• Organize, count, and assess samples in the Product Development queue
• Schedule fit appointments with vendors and models
• Coordinate with PO admin to manage purchase order setup and size breakdowns
• Assist with final cost negotiation alongside the VP of Vendor Strategy
• Track top of production samples to ensure timely receipt and quality
• Maintain Production Steps throughout the Company Calendar and manage weekly WIP reports
• Monitor factory ship dates and advise cross-functional teams on delivery or margin challenges
• Manage cost sheets from proto and SMS through to the production stage
• Drive weekly cross-functional meetings covering pre-production and production deliverables

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in product development, ideally in activewear or performance space
• Basic understanding of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills
• Strong follow-up and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• AFA or AA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
