Assistant Manager - Process Support

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of a team or shift of semi-skilled and skilled production workers
• Ensure established production targets are met, specifically regarding volume, cost, and quality measures
• Manage weekly activities and provide daily assignments to mid-to-large sized shifts
• Oversee operations of simple to mid-level complexity, including managing multiple lines or areas
• Supervise more complicated machine set-ups to ensure operational efficiency
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance within the manufacturing environment

Requirements

• Proven experience directing and managing production workers
• Ability to manage mid-to-large sized shifts and teams effectively
• Practical knowledge of machine set-ups and manufacturing processes
• Demonstrated focus on meeting volume, cost, and quality targets
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
