Assistant Manager Outlet In Room Dining

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of in-room dining operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences
• Manage and supervise the in-room dining team, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service in accordance with Fairmont standards
• Monitor operational efficiency, including order accuracy and delivery times
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine in-room dining menus
• Manage inventory levels, food costs, and portion control to optimize profitability
• Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally
• Conduct regular quality audits of food presentation and service standards
• Liaise with front office, housekeeping, and other departments for seamless service delivery

Requirements

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in food and beverage operations management
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role
• Proven experience in luxury hospitality in-room dining or room service operations
• Diploma or certification in Hotel Management or Hospitality Management
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI or equivalent)
• Proficiency in hospitality management systems and POS software
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in English
• Experience with luxury hotel brands or five-star properties
