Assistant Manager - Optical

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals by reviewing P&L statements
• Optimize the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates to exceed performance standards
• Ensure outstanding customer service and maintain high quality standards for all products
• Assist the General Manager with staffing needs, including recruiting and retaining high-caliber staff
• Manage store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising execution
• Communicate store reporting and updates to the General Manager and District Manager

Requirements

• Experience in optical sales
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships
• Experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred
• Sound understanding of store operations and retail standards
• Ability to analyze and understand financial reports
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
