Assistant Manager - Optical

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals by reviewing P&L statements
• Optimize the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates to ensure timely completion of daily functions
• Ensure outstanding customer service and maintain high quality standards for all products
• Assist the General Manager with recruiting, selecting, and retaining high-caliber staff
• Manage store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising execution
• Communicate regularly with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office

Requirements

• Experience in optical sales
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach and build associate relationships
• Previous supervising experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to analyze and understand financial reports
• Strong problem-solving skills
