Assistant Manager - Optical

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals by reviewing P&L statements
• Optimize the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates to ensure timely completion of daily functions
• Ensure outstanding customer service and maintain high quality standards for all products
• Assist the General Manager with staffing needs, including recruiting, selecting, and retaining staff
• Manage store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising execution
• Communicate regularly with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office

Requirements

• Proven experience in optical sales
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to build associate relationships
• Sound understanding of store operations and retail standards
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
