Assistant Manager - Optical

Responsibilities

• Monitor and achieve profit, sales, and performance goals through P&L review
• Optimize the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Oversee quality standards and review remakes to ensure compliance
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates to exceed performance standards
• Assist the General Manager with staffing needs, recruiting, and retaining high-caliber staff
• Ensure store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are correctly implemented
• Communicate store reporting to the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office

Requirements

• Proven experience in optical sales
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to build associate relationships
• Sound understanding of store operations and standards for success
• Ability to analyze, create, and understand financial reports
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role
