Assistant Manager Operations

Responsibilities

• Functionally supervise Forepersons and coordinate daily operational activities across all terminals
• Monitor safety, productivity, and quality while ensuring compliance with legal regulations
• Identify operational deviations, risks, and bottlenecks and act proactively to resolve them
• Optimize processes and drive efficiency improvements in stevedoring and storage operations
• Report operational performance, incidents, and improvement areas to the Logistics Manager
• Organize toolbox meetings and promote a positive, safe, and professional work environment

Requirements

• Completed HBO degree and knowledge of operational business processes
• Relevant work experience and affinity with leading teams
• Proactive, problem-solving approach to operational challenges
• Flexible mindset and stress-resistant
• Willingness to follow relevant training and courses
