Assistant Manager, Operations

Responsibilities

• Implement the store's operations strategy and vision to ensure smooth business performance
• Plan and manage team member schedules, considering labor requirements, budget, and availability
• Manage the store budget and analyze business metrics such as P&L statements and expenses
• Sustain operational excellence by ensuring inventory accuracy and efficient product processing
• Oversee omnichannel programs, including buy online/pickup in store and ship from store options
• Execute company-level operations projects, directives, and initiatives
• Perform people-related administrative actions including payroll, time-off approvals, and shift swaps
• Lead from the floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in Australia
• Ability to travel to the assigned store with reliable transportation
• 1 year of experience managing business operations and administration
• Experience with scheduling and management of designated labor hours
• Experience managing projects or processes

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of retail or sales-specific management experience
• 1 year of experience in recruiting, hiring, or training employees
• High school diploma or equivalent
