Assistant Manager - Ocean Operations

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end shipment movements within the ISC region to ensure high-quality customer experiences and on-time performance
• Achieve the highest standard of quality by ensuring shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately
• Ensure work satisfies internal KPIs and SLAs to demonstrate quality delivery
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and solve client issues quickly to ensure smooth operations at origin and destination
• Coordinate day-to-day logistics operations with internal and external partners, including ocean carriers, cartage partners, customs, and warehouses

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of global forwarding or related work experience
• 4+ years of industry experience in Ocean Freight, import compliance, or warehousing
• Proficient in MS Office or Google apps
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
