About the role
Responsibilities
- Handle a team responsible for merchant onboarding account activation including KYC, risk, and compliance checks
- Manage account changes based on requests from the business team or merchants
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external queries
- Ensure adherence to operational guidelines during account activation and query resolution
- Maintain Turn Around Time (TAT) in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
- Train new team members on processes and responsibilities
- Prepare and update process documentation as necessary
Requirements
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in back-end operations, preferably in fintech
- 2-3 years of experience in team management
- Strong knowledge of the payment gateway industry
- Deep understanding of merchant onboarding, KYC document verification, and risk undertaking
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA qualification
- Certification in KYC & AML domain
- Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages
