About the role

Responsibilities

  • Handle a team responsible for merchant onboarding account activation including KYC, risk, and compliance checks
  • Manage account changes based on requests from the business team or merchants
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external queries
  • Ensure adherence to operational guidelines during account activation and query resolution
  • Maintain Turn Around Time (TAT) in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA)
  • Train new team members on processes and responsibilities
  • Prepare and update process documentation as necessary

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience in back-end operations, preferably in fintech
  • 2-3 years of experience in team management
  • Strong knowledge of the payment gateway industry
  • Deep understanding of merchant onboarding, KYC document verification, and risk undertaking
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA qualification
  • Certification in KYC & AML domain
  • Proficiency in Hindi or other regional languages
