About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and design complete Public Health, Fire Fighting, and HVAC services
- Design HVAC systems including VRF, Air Cooled, Water Cooled, and Boilers
- Manage BMS integration and design
- Perform design and traffic analysis for vertical transport systems like elevators and escalators
- Supervise the drafting team and communicate design requirements
- Prepare design and tender documents with engineer estimation
- Provide guidance to junior design staff and draft personnel
- Prepare monthly progress reports and resolve mechanical bottlenecks
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for high-rise buildings (residential, hotels, mixed-use)
- Proficiency in HAP, Elite, Duct Sizer, Pipe Sizer, and Revit MEP
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
- Understanding of ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and SMACNA standards
- Ability to perform heat load calculations and equipment selection
- PEC registration preferred
