About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive plant-level process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve OEE.
  • Execute new product development (NPD) and industrialization for new bearing types.
  • Introduce new cutting tools and abrasives for grinding, turning, and honing to improve output and reduce costs.
  • Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, and other technical documentation for new and existing products.
  • Lead machine qualification processes using FAT and SAT techniques.
  • Manage change management through Engineering Change Requests (ECR).
  • Develop tooling requirements for grinding, honing, and assembly processes using SMED concepts.
  • Drive new channel development and machine installation projects, including layouts and automation.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Turning, Hard Machining, Grinding, and Honing processes.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM systems, specifically 3D modeling with Creo and 2D modeling with AutoCAD.
  • Solid understanding of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and Process Flow diagrams.
  • Experience with Machine Qualification techniques (FAT/SAT).
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T).

  • Exposure to advanced manufacturing techniques, digitization, robotics, and low-cost automation.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and learning agility.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
