About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day collections activities to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding accounts
  • Monitor aging reports and collection KPIs, taking proactive action on high-risk or overdue accounts
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Collection Officers and Analysts to improve performance and productivity
  • Set performance targets and support the team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Supply, and Customer Service to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Prepare regular reports on collection performance, aging status, dispute trends, and risk areas
  • Support SOP updates, workflow improvements, and automation initiatives to enhance process efficiency
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and financial regulations

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Collections within a global business environment
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or people-management role
  • Proven track record of improving DSO, reducing aging, and strengthening cashflow predictability
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of accounting, billing systems, payment reconciliation, and risk frameworks
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in travel, fintech, e-commerce, or logistics industries
  • Hands-on experience with CRM or collections platforms (e.g., High-Radius, Salesforce, D365)
  • Proficiency with data-visualization tools and billing engines
