About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure an inclusive customer experience
- Educate customers and staff on brand values including ethical buying and fighting animal testing
- Provide product recommendations through deep product knowledge
- Support the Shop Manager in all business areas, including staff recruitment and succession planning
- Manage shop operations including opening/closing, stock, inventory, and merchandising standards
- Oversee staff scheduling, time, and attendance to ensure payroll accuracy and wellbeing
Requirements
- 1-3 years of retail management or supervisory experience
- Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
- Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models
- Ability to coach and develop staff through positive feedback
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
