Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to exceed daily sales goals and ensure an inclusive customer experience
• Educate customers and staff on brand values including ethical buying and fighting animal testing
• Provide product recommendations through deep product knowledge
• Support the Shop Manager in all business areas, including recruitment, staffing, and succession planning
• Manage shop operations including stock, inventory, merchandising, and scheduling
• Ensure compliance with company standards for health, safety, and product integrity

Requirements

• 1-3 years of retail management or supervisory experience
• Strong customer service, supervisory, and sales skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong organization and time management abilities
• Knowledge of skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business practices
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with consultation-based customer service models
• Ability to coach and develop staff through positive feedback
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic HR skills in hiring, scheduling, and performance management
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration or DEIB training
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
