Assistant Manager - Logistics

Responsibilities

• Manage warehouse operations, material handling, line feeding, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure FIFO implementation, inventory accuracy, and smooth material availability for production.
• Handle job work coordination, challan management, and stock reconciliation using ERP systems.
• Monitor scrap and waste management while ensuring statutory and environmental compliance.
• Coordinate dispatch planning, ASN adherence, and communication with customers.
• Conduct cycle counts, wall-to-wall inventory verification, and variance analysis.
• Support internal and external audits including IATF, EHS, and OHSAS.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any stream (Engineering degree is an advantage).
• 6-10 years of experience in Logistics, with a specific focus on Dispatch.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft NAV experience is an advantage).
• Strong experience in manpower management to ensure smooth dispatch operations.
• Well-versed in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) and effective cross-functional communication.
• Ability to work in shifts and manage contractual manpower during the 2nd shift.
