Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in driving retail business results and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Lead, train, and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure high-quality service
• Assist in recruiting and selecting high-caliber talent to build a strong team pipeline
• Manage store appearance and execute visual merchandising directives
• Maintain positive working relationships with doctors and ensure continuity of care
• Perform administrative duties and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Anticipate and solve operational problems to maintain a safe and efficient environment
• Work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• 1+ years of management or supervisory experience with direct reports
• Proven knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies
• Strong basic math and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators
• Excellent English communication and listening skills
• Demonstrated high-level selling skills

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent
• Previous leadership experience in the retail or customer service industry
• Knowledge of basic optics and current store merchandise
• State licensure or ABO Certification
• Brand Final Inspector Certification
