Assistant Manager, IPL Underwriting

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing underwriting and product development for the IPL portfolio, including Auto, Residential, and Specialty Personal Lines (Device Protection, Cyber Insurance, etc.).
• Contribute to achieving yearly financial targets for both topline and bottomline growth.
• Improve operational efficiency by optimizing the underwriting journey and reducing administrative turnaround times.
• Manage portfolio performance through continuous review and enhancement of underwriting processes and procedures.
• Partner with distribution channels to provide constructive feedback and generate new business opportunities.
• Provide technical support for new product features, coverage wording, and system enhancements.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory, PIAM, local, regional, and global guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and timely internal and external reporting and statistics.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience within the General Insurance industry.
• Bachelor's Degree in an insurance-relevant field, such as Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, or Management.
• Proven experience in coordinating information and communicating results to relevant stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong background in Motor underwriting.
• Experience in portfolio management or insurance product pricing.
• Additional professional insurance qualifications.
